According to her website, Iven Kawi got her start as an “artisan home baker” when she made a batch of cookies for her daughter’s school in 2013.
Since then, she’s become well-known in her hometown of Lippo Karawaci and now her work is spreading across the internet thanks to photos her husband took of her extraordinary cakes adorned with gorgeous and exquisitely detailed succulent-inspired decorations.
At the moment, it seems you’ll have to go to Jakarta if you’d like a taste of these cakes, but thanks to her husband’s photography, we can at least admire them from afar.
